| Antarctic Earth Science | Within the session, it is proposed that a number of sub-session be facilitated to allow the broad spectrum of earth science research being done in the Antarctic environment. Theses sub-sessions are planned to focus on Supercontient evolution in Antarctica, Climate research focusing on ice-sheet dynamics, ocean floor drilling and stratigraphy, permafrost studies, remote sensing including aerial geophysical surveys etc. If accepted the session would need to be scheduled for the later part of the symposium recognising that the bi-ennial SCAR open science conference is scheduled for 19th -31st August 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. | Geoffrey Grantham and Ian Meicklejohn |
