| Rift basins in south-east Asia-faulting, sedimentation and mineralization | South-east Asia is a very special tectonic province in the world. There are huge number of Mesozoic-Cenozoic rift basins in this area. As the rich in oil gas, mass high precision seismic data have been covered and hundreds and thousands of wells have been drilled in many basins during the past twenty years. With these excellent oil and gas exploration data, the researches on faulting and sedimentation have been made progress greatly. These new scientific contributions can help better understand the tectonic evolution history and the story of interaction within four plates (Eurasia, pacific, Indo-Australian plate). | Hengmao Tong |
