The 35th IGC will be hosted in Cape Town, South Africa and is only the second IGC to be hosted on the African continent. • AGID Sub Theme : 1: Ground Water Development for Food Security & Rural Health
• Environmental Geosciences (major theme with 10 symposia)
• Geological controls on the quantitative risk assessment of contaminants in shallow soils and groundwater (human health and eco-toxicology); the importance of a good conceptual site model prior to remediation
